D3A Defence are immensely proud and grateful to have achieved the Gold Employers Recognition Scheme Award. As a micro-SME, this award demonstrates our unrelenting commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant and the wider forces community.
 
Supporting our forces is at the heart of everything that D3A and its staff do, we take our promise to fairly treat those who serve or who have served, and their families seriously. This promise unpins every decision D3A make as a company, our purpose as a defence training service provider is to ensure that the end user gets the best possible equipment and training to prepare them effectively for their task.

The Prompt Payment Code (PPC) is a voluntary code of practice for businesses, administered by the Office of the Small Business Commissioner (OSBC).

As a signatory of the PPC, we have agreed to:

 

  1. Pay suppliers on time, within agreed terms;
  2. Give clear guidance to suppliers on terms, dispute resolution and prompt notification of late payment;
  3. Support good practice throughout their supply chain by encouraging adoption of the Code.

We are proud to be an accredited Living Wage employer. By paying the real Living Wage, employers are voluntarily taking a stand to ensure their employees can earn a wage which is enough to live on. We believe that everyone deserves to be paid a living wage. 

Our customer satisfaction is extremely important to us, which is why made the decision as a micro-SME, to undertake ISO9001 accreditation. ISO9001 is a standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system. It helps businesses and organisations to be more efficient and improve customer satisfaction.

ISO/IEC 27001 is the world’s best-known standard for information security management systems (ISMS). It defines requirements an ISMS must meet. ISO 27001’s best-practice approach helps us manage our information security by addressing people, processes, and technology.

 

Conformity with ISO/IEC 27001 means that our business has put in place a system to manage risks related to the security of data owned or handled by the us, and that this system respects all the best practices and principles enshrined in this International Standard.

We take our cyber security seriously. Being Cyber Essential Plus certified reassures our customers that we are guarded against the most common cyber threats and demonstrates our commitment to cyber security.

JOSCAR (the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register) is a collaborative tool used by a growing number of prime contractors in the aerospace, defence and security industry to act as a single repository for pre-qualification and compliance information. D3A are JOSCAR Stage 2 qualified.

ADS is the UK trade association advancing leadership in aerospace, security, defence and space, to enable prosperity and clean, secure growth for our nation. As a member, our employees security clearances are hosted by ADS.

As a smaller organisation, D3A Defence Ltd are not legally required to produce a modern slavery statement, however, we are committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in our business practices. We recognise that modern slavery, including forced labour, human trafficking, and child labour, is a serious global issue. This statement outlines our commitment to preventing modern slavery in our operations and supply chains.
